The entertainment industry news magazine The Hollywood Reporter is reporting the exciting Nickelodeon Movies news in the following article that Paramount will release Nickelodeon Movies and Paramount Pictures' upcoming brand new "SpongeBob SquarePants" movie, "Spongebob Squarepants 2" in movie theater's/cinemas in the USA on Friday 13th February 2015! "Spongebob Squarepants 2", a sequel to Nick Movies 2004 SBSP film, is expected to be made using CGI-animation (animated using computer-generated imagery), and will stars the voices actors of the popular TV series Tom Kenny (SpongeBob, Gary the Snail, narrator), Bill Fagerbakke (Patrick Star), Rodger Bumpass (Squidward Tentacles), Clancy Brown (Mr. Eugene H. Krabs) shrek halloween and Carolyn Lawrence (Sandy Cheeks).
The City of Savannah Film Services Office have also announced that Nickelodeon and Paramount are planning to shoot some of the movies live action scenes for "SpongeBob Movie 2" in the Savannah, Georgia area over September, October and November 2013. "SpongeBob is a very successful international franchise and we are very excited to be working with Paramount on this project. This is a good fit for us and them. We know from experience how valuable the investment and exposure generated by a project like this can be for our community," said Jay Self, City of Savannah Film Services Director.
